Advanced Photoshop Course (London)

An Advanced Photoshop Techniques course starts this Sunday in central London. The course runs for two Sundays, the 8th and the 15th October, and is taught by Matthew Ward who is a regular Prodig participant. Explore specific areas of Photoshop in some depth, with both lectures and practical exercises. Intended for those with a good level of experience of Photoshop this programme will take you beyond intermediate level.

This is an experimental course which will revolve around images that have problems and need correcting. The course is flexible and will cover aspects of colour management, blending modes, layer masks, clipping groups, channel mixing, layer sets, paths and clipping paths, selections using channels, curves for optimum tonal range and colour control. A look at Preferences, shortcuts for productivity and image assessment. Other aspects of the course will involve artistic interpretation and experimentation.
