Martin has written a substantial introduction on how to shoot via a tethered connection using Lightroom. The article appears on PhotoShopNews. He also discusses using Nikon and Bibble software to achieve similar live viewing of each capture.
I was very interested to see the new Nikon wireless tethered solution at a presentation in Manchester recently. I suspect that wireless may be more suited to capture in Event situations, because of a tendency to use smaller Jpegs rather than RAW. When allied to their Speedlight Commander flash heads, whose settings were also controlled via wireless, it was none the less pretty exciting stuff.
