Dropbox is a service-application that runs cross-platform. It allows you to share and constantly update the contents of a specified folder across all your computers, and even those of your colleagues.

Created by a bunch of young guys out in San Francisco, its currently in Beta and available for you to use free with a 2gb account. They do refer to being able to buy a 50GB Dropbox for $9.99/month, or $99.99/year  account but we haven’t checked that out yet.

We’ve watched their run  through video and it looks worth a peek.
