Orphan Works opportunity to act now
November 17, 2008
This week the U.S. Congress will be going into a “lame duck” session where several major issues facing the U.S. will be taken up. It is also a good time to push through Orphan Works with back room deals and secret manoeuvres, the only way it has managed to survive so far.
Nonetheless, imminent passage of Orphan Works is hanging by a thread. If it passes the House in any of the back room deals, Orphan Works 2008 will become law.
