New Voigtländer Bessa III camera
April 28, 2009

Those of you who have put your pro film cameras in the display cabinet, alongside the Pocket or Twin lens Voigtländers from your childhood, may be surprised to know that Voigtländer are still very much in business and delivering professional film stills cameras into the market.
Just announced is the Bessa III, developed in conjunction with Cosina. It will be equipped with a mechanism for switching between two film formats, 6×7cm and 6×6cm.
The camera will come with an 80mm f/3.5 lens (made from six elements in four groups) and will be powered by a CR2 (3V) lithium battery. Costing around £1,900 it is expected to arrive in the UK in May.
