It can be great
Wetransfer is a favourite method for photographers to send large files to their end user.
A free version lets you send up to 2gb.
But a paid for version lets you send much more… and yay@! you get to personalise it with a wallpaper slideshow of your work.
…And because you want your work to look its best at full screen, these files tend to be reasonably large, certainly good enough for production artwork in some cases.
There’s a problem
The problem is that your personal meta data is stripped from these files.
The camera meta data stays intact, but the copyright info and anything making it traceable is lost.
PRODIG recommends putting a visible watermark on any images you use in this way.
This way you can protect yourself and boost your Brand image at the same time!
